Conception 02:32
Hello there, friend. I'm afraid this song doesn't have any lyrics. Worry not, your pretty little head, the next song has plenty.

Evolution 03:03
I’d not cells enough to play with, and barely enough to reproduce when I pioneered the method to multiply by means of the ooze. I wasted my youth on my meagre ambitions, eager for pride in what I could create, only to watch it gain value that would quickly depreciate. I will be forgotten before you can say “existential thought” and before you can forget all the other important things you were taught. I won’t be remembered once my descendants dismiss me as a myth, despite my responsibility for winged reptiles and legs on fish. But I am your start, I am your heart, I am the essence of your independent thought, I am your limbs and your opposable thumbs, I am what you were, what you are & what you will become after hundreds of years, when the lands are salted, the treetops all return to earth and on the last dregs of the ocean, we sail toward the horizon, swords in hand, to fight for a cause which we cannot recall or comprehend, with sails set for greener pastures and prepared to witness the dusk of man. So set sail for greener pastures. The grass is greenest where it’s fertilised (covered in shit). Look forward to tomorrow for tomorrow we may die. The moon falls from the sky, and despite your misconceptions I fight my way through another day that I might live.

Existence 05:55
We yearn for evolution, as evolution itself is yearning for something to evolve beyond decay & dissolution, and the lethargy of all. Beyond confusion, and the apathy towards solution as no more than a yellowed page in history. But perfection is an illusion which our sleight of hand and our cheap trickery cannot achieve. A life without worth is not worth living, and we are living lives which are, indeed worthless. We march, unyielding into the glaring face of our very demise. Drunk on an ill-deserved sense of immortality. Taunting death, bounding around corners, presuming our unquestionable permanence but in the end we'll all pray for death. Oh, life, you contemptible bitch. What gave you the right to force me to exist? Eternally scaling the walls of the abyss I wear my fingers to the bone and lose my grip. And with no opening in sight it seems I’ll never get out alive, try as I might. Now with no fight left in me and no light to guide me, the only way left is down. The world is a minefield, existence is futile. I’m never remembered, but always forgotten by the break of dawn. Will I be forever embedded in history? I think not. The expulsion of my last breath will be the final step in the long process of ensuring that the world forgets that I was ever born.

about

Dr. Nowt Manchester, UK

Born at the dank floor of a ceaselessly deepening pit, Dr. Nowt, in his decreasing sanity, haphazardly hurls notes and words together, bellowing out the result upward through the void in the hope that it might reach the surface, even just to the lip of his abode where by chance, one might happen upon his cries and project outward his message of peace, kindness, hope and a distaste for humanity. ... more
